Do bird spikes hurt birds?
No. The tips deter landing rather than pierce. Birds simply choose another perch, which is why spikes are considered a humane deterrent.
Where do spikes work better than netting?
On narrow ledges, parapets, signage and equipment tops. For an open balcony or shaft that a bird can fly into, netting is the correct product.
Will the spikes fall off after a year?
Not when installed properly. We clean and prime the surface, bond with weather-proof structural adhesive and add stainless screw fixings where the substrate allows.
Are the spikes visible from the road?
